After a chemistry professor named Charles Herty decided to assemble the team that would one day be known as the Bulldogs, a legacy was born. Only three weeks later, the Bulldogs faced Auburn in the first game in the deep South’s oldest rivalry.

1984 vs. Clemson: Bulldog Kevin Butler made a field goal no football fan can forget in this historic victory. In the last seconds of this match-up against the heavily-favored Clemson Tigers, Butler kicked a 60-yard field goal to win the game. 2018 Rose Bowl: Heading into halftime in a 14-point deficit against the Oklahoma Sooners, the legendary running back duo Song Michel and Nick Chubb tied things up at the end of regulation play.
