Premium Seating

The Miami Marlins offer a variety of premium seating options at Marlins Ballpark. The Diamond Club seats located directly behind home plate in sections 4-8 are the best seats in the house, and include complimentary food and drink (including beer and wine). The Barcardi 1st and 3rd Base Dugout Clubs offer the same complimentary items as the Diamond Club seats, and are located in sections 1-3 and 9-11. The Clubhouse Box Seats in sections 8-10 and 19-21 also offer complimentary food and drink, along with incredible views of the field.

The Clevelander

As described on the Miami Marlins ballpark information page, "The Miami Marlins have partnered with the world-renowned South Beach hotel, The Clevelander, to operate a poolside lounge area unlike any other ballpark experience. The Clevelander at Marlins Park features a swimming pool, fabulous cuisine, signature beverages, entertainment and a one-of-a-kind seating location at the Field Level while viewing the game through the outfield fence. Located next to the bullpen in left field, Guests of The Clevelander will have the opportunity to watch the visiting team pitchers warm up and a close-up view of the Marlins outfielders making spectacular plays during the game."

Best Seats

The best seats for a Miami Marlins game are located in the Diamond Club seats located behind home plate, or the Clubhouse Box seats along the first and third baselines. If these seats are out of your price range don't worry, as cheap tickets in the upper levels can be had for every Marlins game. The ballpark is one of the smallest in all of baseball, so there truly seems to be no bad seat at Marlins Park.

Seats in Shade

The relentless heat Miami experiences in the summer leads to the roof being closed for many games, so seats in the shade are normally not a great concern at Marlins Ballpark. If the club opts to keep the roof open, seats in the outfield will typically experience the most shade, including the Home Run Porch Seats in right field.

Dugouts and Bullpens

The Miami Marlins dugout is located in front of sections 19-21, and the visitors dugout is in front of sections 8-10. The Miami Marlins bullpen is located in front of sections 29-31, and the visitors bullpen is located in front of sections 38-39.

Field Dimensions

The field dimensions for Marlins Park are as follows (all measurements from home plate): 344ft to Left-field, 386ft to Left-Center, 420ft to the "Bermuda Triangle", 418ft to Center-Field, 392ft to Right-Center, 335ft to Right-Field. It is 47ft from home plate to the backstop.

Seat Numbers

Marlins Ballpark follows the standard venue seat number logic, in that seat number 1 will always be closest to the lower number section adjacent to it. For example, seat number 1 in section 20 will be closest to the highest seat number in section 19, and the highest seat number in section 20 will be adjacent to seat number 1 in section 21.

History and Overview

Marlins Ballpark is the newest ballpark in professional baseball, and was completed for the 2012 season. It is baseball's "greenest" ballpark, and also boasts a retractable roof. The building of the stadium came under great controversy as far as the funding was concerned, which eventually was put on Miami-Dade County's shoulders. Marlins park has a capacity of 37,442, making it the third smallest stadium in baseball.
