Friday, April 11 & 18: Lady Gaga
Once the Coachella 2025 lineup headliners were released, Lady Gaga seized the moment to address her fans. “I have long dreamed of throwing a massive night of chaos in the desert,” Gaga wrote on Wednesday (Nov. 20). “I’ve had a vision I’ve never been able to fully realize at Coachella for reasons beyond our control but I wanted to come through for music fans. I have been wanting to go back and to do it right, and I am.”

Saturday, April 12 & 19: Green Day
Besides Billie Joel Armstrong showing up to Coachella 2014 to perform some songs with the Replacements, Green Day has never played at the iconic festival in Indio, CA. Now, Green Day is slated to make their Coachella festival debut as Saturday’s headliners. Some may have been surprised by the announcement of Green Day as a Coachella headliner, but the beloved rock band is having a moment.
Green Day has been on their “Saviors” Tour for a few months now and it will continue on through April 2025. “Saviors,” in support of their fourteenth album Saviors, also celebrates the 30th and 20th anniversaries of their albums Dookie (1994) and American Idiot (2004). Longtime fans of Green Day are going to have a blast rocking out to the past Saturday night.

We think fans should get ready to get down to F-1 Trillion. Considering Post Malone will be continuing his journey into country with the “Big Ass Stadium” Tour, with country musicians Jelly Roll and Sierra Ferrell.

2025 Coachella Lineup: Biggest Takeaways
This year, the lineup seems to be reflect more diversity, more nostalgia. With the return of Lady Gaga, and the addition of Travis Scott, who was meant to perform the festival in 2020, this year’s lineup is stout and prime for big moments. (We anticipate some very special guests joining Travis Scott, who is looking for some redemption from the music festival crowd).
In some ways, Coachella 2025 promises a very traditional festival, bolstered by several EDM icons (Above & Beyond, Polo & Pan). Goldenvoice also managed to snag Charli XCX, who is undoubtedly having an unprecedented year. Benson Boone and GloRilla are both having a moment and add a vital energy to the lineup. Megan Thee Stallion and Missy Elliott, two of the most powerful women in rap, in one weekend?
The Coachella 2025 lineup is multi-layered, genre diverse, and outright strong. We think fans are going to have a tough time figuring out which musicians to see on which days. There is just so much talent.
